  • Full time position for Therapeutic Foster Care Program in our West Springfield, MA office.
  • Manage a caseload of children/youth who are experiencing foster care.
  • Conduct regular visits with foster families and children/youth to promote safety and well-being.
  • Provide supportive services to foster parents and children/youth including assessments, making and monitoring referrals, and collaborating with other service providers.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills; strong ability to build rapport with children/youth and families; and excellent time-management and organizational skills are required.
  • Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree. Social Work license preferred, but not required.
  • Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

  • The School Liaison is an employee of 18 Degrees’ Family Resource Center (FRC) who works closely with local school districts to help family members of children navigate educational and school-related concerns and needs.
  • The role also works with school districts to identify family members that may be in need of family support services.
  • The position connects families to services that meet their individual needs and ensures that there is a process established to provide information, referral, and direct assistance where possible. This may include meetings with teachers, assistance with obtaining an Individual Education Plan (IEP), and meetings with other school personnel, as necessary.
  • The School Liaison is also responsible for negotiating and implementing special events and other interagency activities that involve schools.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Knowledge of family supported work and experience working with school systems and/or educational resources strongly preferred.

Part-time Hourly Workers Needed to Complete Assessments & Adoption Home Studies Strong clinical and writing skills and experience with children and families required.  Must work well within a team.  Ongoing supervision provided.  MSW, LCSW preferred.
