The Advancement Assistant will focus heavily on:
- Supporting grant applications, renewals, reporting, and compliance.
Fundraising responsibilities include database management and gift acknowledgments.

Reporting to the Vice President of Advancement, the Advancement assistant will be a collaborative position that works with all members of the team and across the agency. Prior experience with a donor database, preferably Bloomerang or similar, with strong writing and organizational skills. Proven track record of successfully managing projects to meet deadlines.
Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Two years experience in a fundraising setting, proficiency in Microsoft 365 products, especially Word and Excel. Working knowledge of social media and Canva a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Meal Preparation and Programing Follow and prepare weekly menu based on USDA standard requirements (CACFP)
- Manage Special Meal Accommodations and Food Allergy Meals Substitutions for children
- Provide guidance to Educators and annual trainings
- Complete Internal Audits of Meal Service Procedure
- Maintain Relations with Food and Supply Vendors
- Responsible for Commodities [i.e., Food] and additional ordering

- Coordinate with teachers/directors for offsite meal deliveries and special events

- Cleaning and organizing, washing, and storing dishes and cooking utensils
Management Duties
- Oversight of an Assistant Cook and High School Interns

- The String Teaching Artist will work in our North Adams and/or Pittsfield sites (depending on availability) and can work 2-5 days a week up to 15 hours. There is flexibility with scheduling.
- This teacher will teach fundamental technique on violin, viola or cello with beginning, intermediate, and advanced school-aged string ensembles and lessons focused on age-appropriate skill development for young musicians and building community through ensemble playing.
- Instruction also includes private and semi-private lessons.
- An ideal candidate will have experience with trauma-informed education and believe in music as a vehicle for social change.
- Some nights and weekends are required.
