Project Night Night

Each day, thousands of children must suddenly leave their homes — due to homelessness, family crises or other disruptive circumstances. And often they must leave everything behind.

Berkshire Children and Families is proud to be a participant in Project Night Night, a national program established in San Francisco, which mobilizes volunteers to gather and organize essential items for children who must leave home quickly. Project Night Night’s canvas tote bags are filled with age-appropriate essentials and comfort items, such as a new blanket, books, a stuffed animal, a toothbrush and other simple toiletries (no clothing, liquids or used items).

Berkshire Children welcomes volunteers to help organize and prepare canvas totes and supplies for children, and anyone interested is asked to contact
